The "SUGAR CANE" brand continues to analyze and study the age of fabric made in the early 1900's - the golden age of work wear.
Their APPLE JACK CASQUETTE CAP however, is reproduced from the 50's era, with a vintage cotton-filled cotton fabric. It looks like a frosted pattern because it is woven by changing the warp and weft in two different colors of black and white, or ‘salt & pepper’
The Brim is made carefully using a soft interlining, and the crown is constructed by holding six pieces of fabric with herringbone tape.
